Moving between ecosystems, say from the Lowveld to the Waterberg or the Eastern Cape malaria-free reserves, trades depth for contrast and widens the range of species and terrain dramatically. For eight nights, the strongest itineraries we design divide the stay: four to five nights in one anchor concession, then a light-aircraft hop to a second.
