Common Questions

Questions about working with our advisors

Ten advisors and a director of sales, all in-house. The team is led from Aventura, Miami and includes Magnolia Quintana and Debbie Heim as senior advisors, Juan David Gutierrez as director of sales, and advisors based in Mexico City, Guatemala City and Georgia. Each one owns particular ground rather than covering everything.

Designs the whole journey, and stays with it. One advisor takes you from the first conversation to the flight home: they learn how you travel — the pace, the standard, the reason for the trip — then build the itinerary, hold the reservations, and answer the phone if something moves at three in the morning in another time zone. You are not passed between departments, and you never explain yourself twice.

In-house. Every advisor is an employee of Forest Travel rather than an independent contractor trading under the name. The practical effect is that supplier relationships belong to the firm and are shared across the team, so access does not leave when a person does, and a colleague can act on your trip if your advisor is unreachable.

Since 1986 — forty years of designing private travel from Miami, across more than 120 countries on six continents. That length of trading is what builds the supplier relationships an itinerary actually rests on: the room held, the table kept, the guide who answers on the day. None of it is bookable from a page.

Three: Magnolia Quintana, Juan David Gutierrez and Debbie Heim, all named to the Condé Nast Traveler Top Travel Specialists list for 2026. That list is the magazine's vetted directory of the destination experts its editors trust most, and inclusion is by nomination and review rather than application.

Forest Travel has been a Virtuoso member since 2004. Virtuoso is a by-invitation network of leading luxury travel agencies, and membership is what puts hotel amenities on your booking at no extra cost — typically breakfast for two, a room upgrade when one is available, a property credit and early check-in — plus preferred access to cruise and yacht inventory.

By the trip rather than by who is free. Tell us the destination or simply the occasion, and we route you to the advisor whose specialism it is — safari, cruising and yacht charter, the Mediterranean, alpine and ski, expeditions, or multi-generational family travel. You can also ask for a specific advisor by name.

Across the team: English, Spanish, Italian, French and Hebrew. Most advisors work in both English and Spanish, which is why a large share of our clients are in Latin America and Spain and deal with us in their own language.

Forest Travel is headquartered at 2420 NE Miami Gardens Dr Suite 301, Aventura, Miami, FL 33180, where most of the team sits. Advisors are also based in Mexico City, Guatemala City and Georgia, so clients across the Americas work with someone in a nearby time zone.

Yes. Ask for them by name when you get in touch and you will be introduced directly. If you have no preference, we match you to the advisor whose ground your trip is — which usually produces a better itinerary than picking a name from a page.

Start a consultation with your destination or occasion, rough dates and party size. It is free and carries no obligation: a conversation, not a checkout. An advisor responds with an approach and an indicative range before anything is designed or quoted.
