Coast, or out to the wine islands?

The mainland coast keeps you close to the oyster bays and the great Peljesac reds, with easy returns to the finest luxury hotels each evening. Crossing to Korcula and Vis adds the island whites and a slower rhythm, though it asks for a night or two ashore. The finest journeys do a little of both, following the wine wherever it leads.
