Luxury travel advisors create custom trips through a clear process: a discovery conversation to understand the traveler’s tastes and occasion; a custom itinerary designed around them using decades of relationships and access; collaborative refinement; and full orchestration — flights, transfers, reservations and experiences — with a single dedicated advisor and 24/7 support before and during the journey.
The main benefit of using a luxury travel advisor instead of booking online is access: advisors unlock off-market villas, after-hours experiences and reservations that no website offers. Beyond access, a dedicated advisor saves you hours of research, secures upgrades and amenities, and provides real human support before and during the trip — things an algorithm and a checkout cannot.
Custom luxury travel planning is priced by the journey, not a fixed rate: Forest Travel designs fully private trips from approximately US$10,000 per traveler, scaling with destination, length, party size and the level of access and experiences involved. The initial consultation is free and carries no obligation — you only commit once the journey and its value are clear.
In 2026, luxury travel is defined by experiences over possessions: multigenerational journeys, wellness and longevity retreats, expedition and “set-jetting” to remote destinations, private aviation, and once-in-a-generation events like the FIFA World Cup across North America. The through-line is personalization — affluent travelers want private, meaningful access designed around them.
The best luxury anniversary trips for couples pair a romantic destination with private, once-in-a-lifetime moments: an overwater villa in the Maldives or Bora Bora, the Amalfi Coast and Santorini, a private safari in Africa, or Japan in cherry-blossom season — each designed privately around your milestone with candlelit dinners, private guides, and experiences arranged just for two.
Yes — a luxury travel advisor can arrange exclusive VIP experiences during a vacation. Through decades of direct relationships, advisors unlock what cannot be searched or booked online: after-hours museum and cultural access, private guides and curators, tables at fully-booked restaurants, and invitations to time-bound, members-only events.
Luxury travel advisors handle private transportation and concierge services by orchestrating everything through one dedicated advisor: private jets and helicopters, chauffeured cars, seamless airport and yacht transfers, and a 24/7 concierge who manages reservations, requests and changes for the entire journey — so the traveler never coordinates a single vendor.
