Four journeys so far, and deliberately unalike. Laura Tobón took her family to Cap Cana for three nights, in a suite with its own pool among the palms. Vanessa Domínguez went to Marrakech with the whole family, and the days were arranged so that no one had to organise a thing.

Karina Glennon had Paris built for two, in February, when the city belongs to the people who live in it. Made Martin spent a week in Comporta — umbrella pines, sand tracks, and a kitchen garden that feeds the table.

What the four share is the part a photograph cannot show: the flights, the transfers, the room held before it was released, the table reserved before the restaurant opened its book. That work is the advisor's, and it is why these trips look effortless.
